Shipping Fee Includes a Cooler Charge
During the warm weather months, the shipping fee will include a $5.00 cooler charge. We want to make sure the product arrives in excellent condition, so we only will ship in our products in a cooler when the weather is anticipated to be above 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Warm Weather Policy:
Although cheese will not spoil, if it is shipped in hot weather it could become overly soft and this could cause it to become out of shape and in a worst case scenario, it could sweat out its moisture, causing it to become dry and flat in flavor. Therefore, Alma Creamery reserves the right to not process an order in hot weather. We will however contact you in regards to this decision giving you the last word on whether or not you wish to ship the order. We also will offer to ship your product next day air with a minimum shipping charge of $25.00.
Common Shipping Questions:
Orders are shipped Monday- Thursday, via UPS. Orders shipped within the state can be shipped as late as Thursday. Orders needing to travel to any coastal states will be shipped on Mondays to ensure delivery before the weekend. All other destination will be shipped for the product to be received no later than Friday of that shipping week.
Our cheese is hand cut into random weight products. Your order will be processed as close to possible to the original weight of your order.
